Our indicators are calculated using a database that the CIES Football Observatory team has carefully developed since 2005. The sample is composed of footballers who have played at least one match during the season of reference, and unused squad members who have played in at least one professional league match in each of the two previous seasons.
The online tool here below allows for depicting interactively six indicators for the five last big-5 league seasons. The option "comparison" offers analysis by league, sporting level, age of players, position and geographical origin. The option "trend" presents the change in each indicator, season by season.
